American Society of International Law’s Annual Meeting – Washington, DC, April 12-15, 2017

The ABA Section of International Law is proud to be a cooperating organization of the American Society of International Law’s (ASIL) 111th Annual Meeting, „What International Law Values,” to take place in Washington, DC, April 12-15, 2017.

Featured speakers will include David Armitage, Lloyd C. Blankfein professor of history, Harvard University, Sandie Okoro, senior vice president and general counsel, World Bank Group, and Judge Rosemary Barkett, Iran-U.S. Claims Tribunal.

There will be more than 30 substantive panels following six different tracks on topics of territory, the sea, and space; international adjudication and arbitration; the use of force and armed conflict; criminal law, human rights, and migration; international law as national law; and trade, investment, finance, and intellectual property.
